Academic institutions are the temple of learning. Learning does not always begin the class room. For example student also learns as to how to prepare himself or herself in playground to face the challenge of tomorrow. There are many such activities which try to shape our students as all-rounder.
Broadly speaking, co-curricular activities may be grouped under the following sub-heads:

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is operational at this campus and the college. It aims at training the students to participate in the cause, for masses. It may include all such activities which give exposure to our students about society and nature.

The National Cadet Crops (NCC) comes under this group. Although it is not very popular in our university, every effort is being made to re-establish the program on university level.

All categories of games and sports may be grouped under this head. It has been our experience that some students feels any of learning new games and sports. Majority of our students some from village background and they learn only a few games and sports during school days. Some new items add to list during four years of their college life. The Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University in general and the college of Agricultural Engineering in particular has made elaborate provisions to help the talented boys/girls to show their merit on this count as well.
Games and sports at the college level are guided by the society of Agricultural Engineering patron by professor of the faculty. The dean of the college being the Chief-executive of the institution, provide overall guidance. At present our activities in this sphere included:
- Football
- Volleyball
- Cricket
- Table Tennis
- Badminton
- Chess
- Carom
Efforts are being made to add few more in the list including lawn tennis and Basketball. Annual events are being organized at various level and agricultural engineering students have shown that they are inferior to non in this sphere also.

Entertainment programme are organized by the college and the university on many occasions. Our professors IPC leaves no effort spared when it comes to organizing a musical concert or a varietal entertainment programme. Feel free to join with this group and make yourself known as true all-rounder.
Remember opportunity does not come again and again. Also remember that there is never late to make a beginning for a good and noble cause. Do not allow shyness to overpower you. Seed of transformation is present within you. Feel proud of being a member of the Agricultural Engineering Community and prove that you are the only best.
